Booking a spare car key for the first time? Here’s exactly how it works with us, from your first WhatsApp message to driving away with your new key. No surprises, and nothing you need to work out on the day.
Step 1: WhatsApp us photos and details
Everything starts on WhatsApp. Send us:
- Key photos: front and back of your key, with the buttons visible.
- Car details: make, model and year.
- What you need: how many spares, or whether you’ve lost all your keys.
We make keys for most car models. The photos let us confirm we can help with your car before you book, so you don’t make a wasted trip. See what to send for more.
Step 2: Get your quote
Key copying is quote on request, because the price depends on your car and key. Once we’ve seen your photos and details, we reply with a quote for your car. Our post on what affects the cost of a car key copy explains why.

Step 3: Book a time
We work by appointment only, with no walk-ins. That way your slot is set aside for your car.
- Days: Monday to Saturday
- Hours: 11.30am to 6.30pm
Pick a time that suits you on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm it.
Step 4: Get your documents ready
We only make keys for the car’s owner, so please bring proof of ownership:
- your OneMotoring vehicle log card, or
- your vehicle ownership record in Singpass.

Step 5: Bring your car (or we come to you)
For most jobs, the key needs to work with your car, so we need the car as well as the key. Bring it to us at Burlington Square, 175 Bencoolen Street #01-22, near Rochor MRT on the Downtown Line. You can park at the Burlington Square carpark.
If you’d rather we come to you, onsite service is available for an extra fee, quoted on WhatsApp.
Step 6: On the day
Arrive at your booked time with your car, your key and your proof of ownership. A typical remote or smart key copy takes 1 to 2 hours. We’ll check the new key works with your car before you go.
You’re welcome to wait nearby while we work on your key.
Step 7: Payment
We accept:
- PayNow
- Cash
- Credit or debit card

Lost all your keys?
